I am a writer, product guy, and former world traveler. I’ve been a venture-funded CEO, an advisor and/or consultant to young companies in various capacities, a writer of magazine articles for places like Wired and The New York Times Magazine (among many others), and (quite a while ago now) a composer of very difficult contemporary chamber music. I’ve also written a book about online games and virtual worlds.

I am and always will be from Brooklyn, though home these days is San Francisco, where I lead a rich life involving a lot of children and one singular and very beautiful wife. Everyone else can reach me at thelastweblog at gmail etc.
